Im thinking a lot more than 250 copies were pressed, as 245 people here have it in their collection, highly unlikely everyone bar 5 people who bought it are on discogs but i guess stranger things have happened!

I don’t think that takes into account people who’ve sold their copies and never bothered to update their collection though.

MPF released their extra copies in December, about 40 in total.

Its funny because I want a copy, not to indulge my collectorness. I actually play my 45's of this. But I would actually play the record, not sit on it and sell it for 100+.

Playing Late Night Delight's Side A on 45rpm is illuminating.

Very nice LP pressing of a great Vaporwave album. The records cut nice and wide and the distortion comes through nicely. Unfortunately my copy has a bit of crackling on the b-side (does anyone else have the same problem), though I'm not too fussed about it. Seeing how much it's going for now, I'm glad I purchased it for only $40. :P Also I'm really not surprised this thing is going for $140+. Scalpers know that's the price some collectors are willing to pay, so that's how much they flip them for. It's the same for nearly every Vaporwave tape/vinyl. If people didn't buy them for that price, they wouldn't sell for that price and there would be no incentive to scalp. So if you don't like people flipping, don't pay for flipper prices and wait for the price to drop down.

For those who own a copy of the 12", is it just me or does the art on the sleeve seem a little low quality? It looks like a jpg file was uploaded or the photo was stretched.

Same here, the resolution seems low. The back seems fine though.

Probably because they are one of the people doing it and they don't like you calling people out for reselling immediately after receiving it.

Yeah. The "at the expense of" bit doesn't really hold up.

It was not at the expense of the charity. The charity got the money that it was supposed to from the sale of the first 200 records. MPF and Lux both donated their shares. I don't know about what SP is to do with his share once IP gives it to him. I am not here to judge the morality of "flipping"/"scalping", rather I am here to point out that the funds for the charity were given and that the secondary market should not matter in regards to such charity.

That sounds exactly like something a flipper would say. I think it's completely scummy that these leeches bought charity fund-raising records for the sole purpose of scalping them online. Why does the price of the secondary market matter? The funds that were supposed to be given to the charity were given when the "scalpers" bought their copies from MPF.
